      Description


      This spacious 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom home tucked away in a quiet part of Camps Bay is ideal for a large family. The overall impression is of pale, cool elegance, with its pure white Italian marble floors throughout most of the rooms and passageways. A pillared foyer opens into a vast lounge whose floors are softened by cowhide rugs. An L-shaped suede sofa faces the fireplace and provides a comfortable place to relax while enjoying the tranquil ambience.

      The three floor-to-ceiling glass doors in the front have wooden American shutters to turn it into a cool sanctuary on hot days. They open onto a private grey slate tiled terrace with sea views and gleaming steel railings, overlooking the lush gardens on one side and a paved courtyard on the other, ideal for sundowners or romantic alfresco meals, braais or catching a tan on one of the eight sun-loungers provided.

      A state-of-the-art alarm system ensures security and safety for belongings during excursions to Camps Bay beach a mere ten-minute walk away, or to the excellent restaurants and shops. The dining room, just off the lounge, has warm, pale wood floors and sliding doors onto
      the terrace, a delightful beach cottage style dining table with six chairs and a bench for family meals. The kitchen boasts all the mod cons, including a dishwasher, microwave, cooker with extractor fan and washing machine, its grey tiled floors complementing the pale wood cupboards and genuine black gold marble countertops.

      The downstairs bedroom has wooden floors and matching fitted cupboards, sliding doors with shutters that open onto the terrace on one side while two more give access to a private pool deck on the other. Adjacent to it is a full bathroom with a glass shower cubicle, bath, two hand basins and a toilet, and a guest toilet with a hand basin just up the passage.

      Upstairs is the master bedroom, also decorated in cool white with beach cottage style furnishings and pale wooden floors, which has a stunning view of the Twelve Apostles and the coastline towards Hout Bay.

      Four sliding doors open onto another grey tiled terrace overlooking the sea,with a sun deck on one side. The en-suite bathroom boasts white marble and a Jacuzzi bath, with a separate toilet and sliding doors leading onto another sundeck at the back with amazing views of the Twelve Apostles and Lion’s Head Peak.


      The second upstairs bathroom offers grey marble floors, a shower, toilet and another mountain view.
      The second upstairs bedroom also has mountain views, wooden floors and shabby chic-furnishings. The TV room next to it has two sliding doors with shutters that open onto the terrace and sundeck with sea views. It has a fan for hot days, a comfy leather couch, fireplace, large flat screen TV and a basin.

      The fourth bedroom is located downstairs, with white floor tiles, double glass doors opening onto the garden, beach cottage style furniture, heated towel rails and walk-in wardrobe. The laundry adjoins it, and the en-suite bathroom has a glass shower cubicle and a view of the shady courtyard. All the bedrooms are equipped with two single, extra length beds that convert into a king size, or can be separated for children or other family members.

      Please contact us if we can help in any way. We arrange airport transfers, car hire, tours, restaurant bookings or anything else to make your stay with us enjoyable. Also let us know of any particular requirements such as cots and high chairs for infants. We can also happily pre-stock your apartment with food and drinks on your behalf. If you will be celebrating a special occasion during your stay such as a birthday, anniversary or honeymoon, please let us know so that we can make that extra effort on your special day.

      Arrival and Departure
      Check-in time is between 14h00 and 18h00 unless otherwise arranged. Check-out time is before 11h00 on the day of departure. We try to accommodate other arrival and departure times, so if you have any special requests please let us know. Please contact 45 minutes prior to your arrival at the property on +27 21 438 6440 during office hours, or on +27 84 804 9902 after hours. Please be aware that there is an after-hours arrival charge of R300 for any arrivals between 19h00 and 7h00.

      Passports
      South African immigration laws require all visitors' passports to have at least two blank pages and to be valid at least six months from your planned date of departure from South Africa. The law is rigorously enforced so please check your passports without delay!

      Cancellations
      Bookings cancelled more than 90 days prior to arrival date pay a 10% cancellation fee.
      Bookings cancelled between 90 and 61 days of arrival date pay a 25% cancellation fee.
      Bookings cancelled between 60 and 31 days of arrival date pay a 50% cancellation fee.
      Bookings cancelled less than 30 days from arrival date pay a 100% cancellation fee.

      Refunds and waiver of cancellation policies are at the discretion of management and their ability to relet the room. We advise all clients to take out cancellation insurance.

      All changes to bookings once confirmed, including moving from one property to another, or amending dates, are deemed to be cancellation of the first booking, and applicable fees must be charged.

No binding contract is in force until such time as a rental deposit has been made, and the rental manager has vetted and accepted the payment and guest information, and communicated such to the client.
